JD Salinger's Unread Work

This article to me was rather interesting. So many people work so hard their entire lives to achieve fame, and never do so, and here is a man who did more than achieve it, and he was ungrateful. And the whole drinking his own pee?! Really dude, that's straight up WEIRD! I don't know how his work would be looked at today. Clearly, he wrote a classic, so maybe they would be good. But considering his last story for the New Yorker was a bit on the strange side, maybe they'd be a flop. I guess we'll find out in time...
